Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
The 在线博彩 Certified Nursing Assistant Program is approved through the Georgia Department of Community Health (GDCH) and meets standards outlined in the "Policies and Procedures for Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP)." The nurse aide course is taught in English ONLY. The course offers training to candidates that desire to become eligible for certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). The program provides a comprehensive course to train candidates to work in all health care facilities (e.g. nursing homes, hospitals, hospice, home health, etc.) The 在线博彩 CNA program is a total of 88 hours consisting of 64 hours classroom/skills lab instruction, and 24 hours of clinical practice in a long-term care facility. Upon completion of the course, students will be certified to register with Credentia CNA365 System to take the State Certification test.

Registration Fee
The 2025 registration fee ($1,150 在线博彩 Student | $1,225 Non-在线博彩 Student) covers instruction, textbooks, required supplies, clinical supervision, 1 set of scrubs, a blood pressure cuff, and a name badge. Students are responsible for the cost of their background check/drug test ($99.95), a Professional Liability Insurance Policy for clinicals ($43), and the State Certification Test Fee will be $130 (Written $35/Skills $95).

When you receive your registration confirmation via email, there should be six (6) attachments containing important information regarding requirements you must meet in order to attend the CNA program. You must open and read all the attachments carefully and take appropriate action to meet those requirements before the first day of class. Background Check and Drug Test
Students must initiate a background check and drug test before the first day of class through Advantage Students at a cost of approximately $99.95. Once logged into your Advantage Students account, click Get Started and Get Started Again. Under Affiliated Schools, select University of West Georgia, and select the 在线博彩 CNA Program to share your results.
TB Test
Students must submit a negative tuberculosis documentation TB/PPD form, or Quantiferon/Tspot Testing. A Chest x-ray is required for students with a positive TB skin test with a symptom evaluation signed by a licensed Medical Provider (MD, PA, or NP). TB test results done previously must be good within one year of the last date of clinicals scheduled for your course.
Watch With A Second Hand
Students are required to bring a watch with a second hand to class for use during the course and during the certification test at the end of the course.
